Chemical peels can be of different depths and formulations. We use a progressive rather than aggressive approach at our clinic and a combination of Lactic, Salicylic, Mandelic and resorcinol based peels by AlumierMD and Circadia.

Intense Pulsed Light uses a process called selective photo-thermolysis.

IPL works by emitting a wavelength into the skin, which in the case of hair removal targets pigment.

The light is absorbed by the pigment in the hair. It quickly turns to heat which then kills the growing cells that make the hair  the hair roots and prevents regrowth of hairs

This method particularly well on thick dark hair on light skin. 

This treatment will not work on grey or white hair.

HIFU stands for High Intensity Focussed Ultrasound.

This technology is used to stimulate production of collagen through inducing micro trauma by creating thermal coagulation points at the depth of 4.5mm, 3mm and 1.5mm

Cryo induced lipolysis treatment uses cold of down to -5C to crystallise fat.

It would normally crystallise 20-25% of fat in the area in one session, which would typically give about 1-1.5cm reduction. 

The treatment works on the subcutaneous fat. Generally, if your fat is jelly-like and wobbly, the treatment is likely to work. 
 

If the fat is hard, it is likely to be a visceral fat and the treatment will not help in this case. 

The treatment is appropriate for small to medium pockets of fat.
